The only "protest" would be to not go as others have said. The owners don't give a shit so the only way is to hit them in the pocket. A practically empty stadium would be far the best way to highlight how the fans feel but people will still go no matter what.

Swiss - indeed they did and that's fair enough on that score. I was taking issue with the assertion that they had always made their aims
clear. That was not the case, hence their apology.

It’s been said before but we need to be protesting at every game and if it upsets the players then fuck them as well the gutless slackers to many people scared of being relegated
But don’t think anti board chants will spread round the stadium it’s sad to say but a large majority ar3 totally oblivious to what’s going on

The problem was AS and MM never made their limited aims clear enough to the thousands of group members who clearly thought regime change was part of the deal.
I certainly joined up thinking that was the aim and I don't recall seeing anything to disabuse me of that view.

No muskie you are wrong. Andy and Micky made it clear their purpose for the march was not to oust the board. So this where you fall down. It might have been the agenda of other groups "highjacking" the march. Their agenda was some 5 points or something to pressure the board into.

can't claim to be an eastender myself, i'm a westcountry boy whose only lived here for twelve of my thirty odd years.
seems to me though that the hardened eastend support has grown doughy and soft with their migration out to the green pastures of essex and beyond. they'll roll out the barbour jacket and baker boy cap for matchdays and speak using the dying language of their elders, but the stomach for a fight is gone.
when all's said and done and the shouting's over, it's back on the C2C to their two up two down in basildon to settle in with a nice bit of netflix.

Last game of the season providing our fate is known by then would be best time for anti board sing songs. If fate still unknown then after the game. Leave the 3 cunts thinking about it all summer with no time for a response or their PR bulshit.

I too think any fan protest has been put to bed by the RWHF group capitulation. The legacy of that episode is that even if you can shake off the apathy and stir yourself into life you face getting a clump from your fellow fans.
An alternative, ideally complementary, way of causing grief is a concerted lobbying campaign aimed at dragging sponsors names and allied organisations into this. Sponsors will hate any sort of negative publicity and that will make the club uneasy as it will threaten to hit them where it hurts - in the wallet.
People also need to get into the ears of their MPs, London Assembly members and the mayor's office (but don't tell the RWHF group).
The days of a mass protest are over. Time to try a new approach - if anyone can be arsed any more.

I think something needs to be covertly arranged where all like minded fans meet in one section of the ground and start some songs off.
Can be done by WHOmail, email, FB messags & word of mouth etc... Just don't make it public.
Choose a game, a time and a section and it can be done. Otherwise could be on the food concourse under the directors box if it's problematic getting all into one part of the seating.
We can not let these cunts off, it can not happen!
